So, here is a roundup of my national ranking series adventures in 2010. I did 3 races in all. Clumber Park in March, Steyning in April (my personal favourite) and Milton Keynes, also in April. In short, they were cold, fun and painful and in that order. But all great preparation for the Europeans in Nancy just a few weeks later.
My efforts saw me finish 3rd in my age group and 18th nationally. The age group finish is a personal best for me and should hopefully see me automatically qualified for the European duathlon championships in 2011!
Out in the cold and wet of Clumber park
Out on the first run at Steyning being closely chased by GB team-mate Gordon Irvine and sporting my new Fast Forward disk wheel on the bike which the crowd love!
